What's good, my people!!?
I know, I know. It's been a hot damn minute since I been on the blog of my own website but here goes...
9:00 The Spiritual Bat are flying in (no pun intended) to kick off their Cruel Machine U.S. Tour at Kenny's Castaways 157 Bleecker Street New York, NY with Glitter Freeze and Lisa and the Tragedy.
Should be an interesting show. I actually planned on going but alas, I cannot. Scheduling conflicts do suck indeed.
I would like the world to know this, even though they really don't have to, I am on the hunt for a new phone. This iPhone,
I had since 2010, apparently has lived it's full life expectancy and needs to be replaced. I'm contemplating on getting either
another iPhone 3G or the Samsung Galaxy. The iPhone 4 is out of the question. I think it's an overrated status symbol. My
iPhone, when it worked, of course, was a functional piece of equipment that didn't have any bells and whistles that I didn't
want. It really is a tossup between the 3G and the Galaxy. That's all. I don't wanna hear it.
Anyway, more important
things. JoB's EP finally hit iTunes. It sure took those barefooted bearded seaweed eating bastards long
enough to recognize JoB as a force to be reconed with in the Goth/Alternative genre but they finally did and, according
to him, he is in it for the long haul. Not only can you find The Greater Good EP on iTunes but also in CD form when and wherever JoB does shows. It's a slower than desired
process to get his music into the stores but I assure you we are haven't forgot and and we are still working on it.
We're gonna try to get C to the Z on iTunes soon too. Did I tell you I'm working on an album myself to wrap up my precious Killa
Series? This is a series I've been talking about since the summer of 2009 and said back then how it would be all mapped out.
The previous series was to put my name out there and have a general message in 51% of the songs that people can relate to.
This one is more complex but whoever sticks around and fully gets the concept around is real. You have to be real with
the real people.
August 25th I'm back at the Gjoa Club 850 62nd St for Yet Another Nohrmal Music Festival. Other bands include Out Of Order, Belt, Little Old Ladies, The Bloody Muffs, Nohrmal and much much more! It’s absolutely
free and really close to transportation and if anybody has a problem with this, tell them I’m a tougher toughguy than
them and they’ll leave you alone.
Four days later I am at Otto’s Shrunken Head as the Who on Rew & WhO with Rew who will be fronting one of the bands in the event that follows that same night at that very same venue, M.C. Too Tall’s
Crash ‘n’ Burn Birthday Bash! The Rew & WhO broadcast and my Crash ‘n’ Burn Birthday Bash will
be held at Otto’s Shrunken Head 538 E14th St in Manhattan and here’s how that will play itself out. DJs Jeffo and Bride of Wire will spin ‘80s Dance, Electro, Synth, Post Punk and Industrial in the front room. The back room party hosted by Scarlett Venom kicks off 9:00 sharp with Lady Zombie followed by The ReWd OnEz, Little Old Ladies, Faith and Mark, JoB and myself with, of course, Scarlett, spinning behind me. Try to give ‘em a different look. Ya know? September is gonna be an interesting month. I have a real special night
lined up for late September at Hank’s Saloon in Brooklyn. Apparently, my reputation for drawing people earned me a spot at Hank’s on a good night and I’m
picking a really good band to headline. Can’t say who but it’s a pretty big international name. Promotional giant, I tell you. Crowned Eagle Entertainment is a promotional giant and as I said from day one you could verify
that if you don’t believe me. Why wouldn’t you believe me? I’m M.C. Too Tall.
