What's good, my people!!? It's
been a minute so where should I begin?
OK Lets start off by saying
that I have a show coming up Wednesday April 24th
at No Malice Palace 197 East 3rd Street
between Avenue A and Avenue B and it begins at 8PM
... The nearest local subway is the Second Avenue F train station. Much thanks to Mr. Kipp Elbaum for putting it together
and if you know Kipp, you already know there will be a good line up of local acts on that bill and I'm recommending everyone
who can come down to do so. Kipp never disappoints.
4PM May 1st
also on a Wednesday I am the who on the Rew&WhO? Show which is a very popular streaming Internet program that comes
through your PC, notebook comp, tablet and/or smart phone every week at the same time. Proposed known guests thus far include
Bryan Defiance, songwriter, guitarist and frontman and founding member of the popular punk rock band The Bloody Muffs, Camillo
DiMaria, author and spoken word artist and event organizer and we're working on getting M-TRI and D.J. Leecy T on there as
well. You could come see the show live at Otto's 538 East 14th Street
or tune in on your PC at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/rew-who
My good friend Billy Mohrman from the band Nohrmal and promoter
of the annual summertime music festival in Brooklyn named after his band has invited me and Scarlett for the fourth year in
a row to participate, an invite that we gladly accepted. For those who have been attending these events which take place at
the Gjoa club (pronounced "Yo-Ah) know that this is the event where I most enjoy bringing out the element of surprise.
I'm gonna leave it at that.
To the many of you who have been asking about an actual Crowned
Eagle Entertainment residency, the answer is as follows. It's still in the works. I know exactly who my resident DJ will be
and I do want to invite some of the more known DJs of the area as guest DJs and I definitely have one particular young lady
to be the hostess. In fact the entire thing will hinge on the two ladies I have in mind to be resident DJ and hostess. As
far as venue and day go, those are the only two things up in the air. As much as I would love to put this regularly scheduled
event on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night
right in the middle of Manhattan's Lower East Side as most of my music and events cater to the punks and goths who hang
out in that area, and that is what I'm currently shooting for, I am still confident that my DJ, my hostess and I can
succeed where others have failed and lure people into a venue in Brooklyn south (Gravesend, Bensonhurst, Dyker area) on what
would normally be considered a mundane night like a Monday. Either way, the entertainment aspect of my life will be focused
on wrapping up my album and getting a monthly or weekly party off in either Manhattan or N train accessible location in Brooklyn
regardless of what day of the week it falls on.
Speaking of the album (New
Logos and New Marketing Schemes), whoa! The range is astounding. I have some Hip Hop sounding tracks including one the Juggalos
might like (I'm more of a Goon but I have allies who are Juggalos and Juggalettes), a collabo with goth vocalist and former
Empire Hideous drummer, JōB, another track where Scarlett Venom raps and C to the Z closes it out and I even sing on
a couple of the tracks. I find it to be a very well rounded album, if I do say so myself. Release date is still pending. I
may release it at the end of the first week of June but nothing is set in stone on that.
